I am in the processes of making my Corgi/Bassett Lowke Stainer 2-6-0 able to run on 031 tubular track. She can be see in this video running at an 0-6-0 whilst I redesign the pilot truck with smaller wheels to clear the cylinders. I also added an extension to the tab on the rear of the locomotive to open up the gap between the engine and the tender, the extension also swings at the locomotive side making a double jointed drawbar to let things go thru the curves without a bind. She is pulling all 6 of my ACE trains coal wagons with loads in them, and a vintage Bassett Lowke brake van(caboose). Now I need me an electric driven UK engine to pull my cars when I dont want to run steam. The Mogul has also been converted to a ceramic butane gas burner over the original style alcohol burner which both stinks and has a greater fire risk when running indoors. Much easier to just turn off the gas valve if a derailment happens, vs sloshed and spilled alcohol that might be on fire. Enjoy!
