Hello, OGR Forum Members.

I friend of mine has a MTH Railking Steam Engine, 30-1384-1 (I forgot the road name). I go to the MTH website to download the

instruction booklet, but it is not avalable. I was wondering if someone out in the OGR Forum World would know what is the

original battery so i can replace the same with a BCR. Please respond to my e-mail - santafemike@optonline.net

I Thank Everyone In Advance For Your Assistance In This Matter.

Mike,

Since the engine is from the 2006 catalog, it's most likely a 3 volt PS2 board. Regardless, your friend can definitely determine what is the battery by looking at the battery charging port on the tender.

If the port is round, it's a 5 volt board. If its rectangular with two pins, it's a 3 volt board.
