I have a 726 Berkshire first year production 1946 that I just purchased. The rear corner of the cab has a very gentle bend. Can I make a form out of wood (2pcs) that matches the curvature of the cab and gently draw the cab back into its proper shapeusing c clamps? I would just gradually apply pressure, thoughts and suggestions please, thanks!

You'll need heat or the cab will crack. A heat gun would be better than a propane torch if you want to try and save the paint. You want to heat the metal to 3-400F.

Make your form with less curvature than the roof as it will want to spring back, also the edges will dig into the wood. I tape the form into vise jaws, then lower the roof into the form and tighten the vise slowly. Do a little at the time and then reheat.
