Bevell's Hardware Store layout

I just returned from a day trip from Bevell's Hardware Store in Blackstone, Va and what a fabulous train layout. Children as well as adults will find this layout fascinating! Bevell's only run's this display from November thru 1st part of January. If you are near Blackstone, Va or in driving distance of Blackstone, Va please consider driving By for a visit. You will not be disappointed! Santa is there visiting as well on Saturdays until Christmas Day.

just a few streets over on Main Street you will find a small train store with very nice Lionel, MTH and Williams trains very well priced. I found many items I plan on going back to purchase next week.

Southern States in Manassas VA also has a display, 3 scales. Done by I think a husband of a employee. He does it judt because he wants to and they let him.

Our club is planning a road trip to Bevell's on the 27th. What is the name of the train store over on Main st. I'm sure everyone will want to go there as well.

Thank you for asking. Retirement is wonderful. Today, I took Peggy shopping in Monroeville. We had a great lunch at Dick's Diner in Murrysviile. Tonight, I'm going to the local high school basketball game. Homer Center vs. Ligonier. We couldn't do any of the above when we had our store.

Steve-A and other interested OGR members that wants to know the name of the name of the small train store on Main Street in Blackstone va near Bevell's Hardware stroke is vocal led Fran and Jamie's Discount Center. The store is a shared store with a thief store owned by his wife. It is a very nice store and some really nice Williams, Lionel and MTH trains and rolling stock and some accesorries. I found several engines and sets I am considering in driving back to buy. Prices are very good.

Has a wonderful day in Blackstone this past weekend, very nice central Virginia town. First stop, of course, was to see the train display at Bevell's. If you can get there you will not be disappointed.
