These showed. Nice project and boy are they huge! Thats an O gauge 613 pullman for comparison. They both have interiors and should be interesting to restore. There is a decent amount of color left.

nice project....but I don't think I'd be sitting in those seats.......
Nice find Dennis, with a nice repaint they would be nice, I will try to see if I can find you an original roof. Low price of course
Daniel, if you can find a roof, or some more junk cars like this, I'll send you a 2263 tender for that 763!
Yes, those are some pretty dangerous seats!
What are your plans for the restoration? If you repaint them, you will lose the litho. I wonder if you can use decals to restore the details after the repaint?

Sorry Dennis, I just got one but there will be so many other projects to come. I have ever founded much more rare parts, it's just a question of time.

Cool project. I have some early lionel standard gauge that needs some love.

Dennis, you had me at the seats and table - how very cool! Truly anxious to see what you can do with them. Do you have any 1 gauge Bing engines?
No, There are the first 1 gauge items I've had in quite some time. I've got some O Bing and Marklin, but nothing in 1 so far...Yes, I am curious to know what the people looked lie. Surely there were some in the catalog.
Dennis, here is a picture of a Bing O gauge restaurant car with people. They are not comon to find due that they are made in a sort of plaster and they disintegrate as time pass, especially if they are in a humid storage. The people are similar to Marklin's ones and you can find repro in Germany in O and I gauge.
The picture is from the excellent german forum http://www.altemodellbahnen.de/

Thanks Daniel, That description certainly explains why you don't see original people in these cars. It makes sense the plaster people would not last like the metal car does. That picture also gives a little idea of the inside colors as well.
