Don’t forget the Holiday Open House Season “ Railroad Days” begins this Saturday at 1:00PM. The club does have a company store where used trains are sold at great discounts, all scales so pick up a self Christmas gift with a lot less guilt

Here is a video from last weeks open house. It shows a D&H Challenger running on the 2 rail O gauge downstairs layout. Besides 2 rail O scale the layout also has 3 rail O, On30 and S scale. Our upstairs layout is HO plus a small 3 rail O gauge switching layout that children can operate.

Stop by this weekend, Saturday and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00pm.

My wife and I visited the club a few years ago and enjoyed the layouts. My brother in law, who lives in Bethlehem  is friends with one of the members.

     This weekend is round three of our Holiday Open House Season December 11 & 12th Saturday and Sunday 1-4:00pm. Attached are some videos from last weeks action. The first video is our HO Layout featuring a Military train and the second is action from the 2 and 3 rail O scale lines with a peak of our S scale line too.

Note the high speed mail train which goes an entire lap before the 2 rail freight train completes passing by the camera……..come on George slow it down!!!!!!!

Dear Forum Members,

      Please be advised that at yesterday’s Business Meeting of the Black Diamond Society of Model Engineers that the members of the club voted to cancel the remainder of January and February Open House shows due to COVID concerns.

      I do want to thank any of the Forum member who visited the club during the November and December open houses. Hopefully next years open houses will be COVID FREE.

That video was really cool. I also visited the BDSofME some years ago. The members were really friendly and my buddy and I had a great time seeing the layout. I would definitely like to go again sometime when things are better. Thanks for all the cool videos.
