Probably a no but worth the question - anyway to block people from liking your posts? Some of the "serial likers" have clicked it literally every post you make going back years to today.

I just liked your topic...
Some of the "serial likers" have clicked it literally every post you make going back years to today.
And the problem is?????
I'll take all the "Likes" I can get. God knows I'm not gettin' many anywhere else.
Heck, that's a good indication you are doing something productive to somebody.

Speaking my mind and making posts based on common sense works for me.
Can't imagine why you wouldn't want to be "liked"...but there is a way. Go to your manage tab at the top right of this page for instance where the blue bar is. When you hover your cursor over it a window will come up and you should see a notifications choice come up...click on it. Scrolling down you will find a box that you can choose not to be notified by email of "likes". That should do it...

It's a great way of commenting on someones post with out taking the time to post.
Alan,
Thanks - perfect! I guess I "had it comin'" with a post like this. Is there also any way to eliminate them from lighting up the "Alert" tab at the top right.
;-)
Is there a way to block individual posts from appearing on the Recent Posts column? Those runaway bandwagon posts.
I would offer a different view here. I pick and choose my topics and I feel passionate about a topic or else I don't comment about it. It helps me that other people who don't have enough time to reply like my topic. It makes my opinion worth something.
IMHO!

I agree with you Mike and in addition it don't bump posts for me to say the same thing somebody just said. Like I just did with your post.

Some of the other questions above I am not sure of the answer so I will let Rich chime in... I believe within your notifications tab of which I referenced above, there are individual settings that could adjust how, if, and when you are notified about content, etc. Easy enough to experiment...
