A local train nut (not on Forum) and I have gone boat crazy.

This photo shows a cargo ship, pile driver, schooner and ferry made by a Master Model Builder, John Flaherty, now on the removable river (the subject of another recent Forum topic) currently on my layout:

I will share more photos later, but now let's see some boats and other nautical vessels on your layout.

In order to hide the black support bars of the Bascule bridge, I took a piece of brown paper from a brown paper bag, painted it with a blue, white and gray, and after it dried, I gave it a thick coat of glossy Mod Podge.

I may repaint it because the shade of blue does not quite match the blue oo the rest of the river, and then I will give it another coat of Mod Podge. Arnold

Love it, river speed bumps for a no wake zone.

Here are some photos of my (incomplete) harbor scene with a lobster boat and tug.  Had my grandkids help with the pour for the water and constructing the tug.

Harbor scene

Note the different views of the tug show 2 of its 3 names.  Each grandchild gave it a different name.

After my grandson and I did the resin pour, we blew on the surface to get rid of the bubbles as directed.  We were not totally successful, and I first I was disappointed, but then realized they look like a wake.   Could not do that if  we tried!

Wake

Finally, as noted by John A, I just removed the black bar for the Bascule Bridge.  Made sure tracks on each end were secure. Bridge works fine.

I just got a tug that looks very much like yours and am wondering if the deck fits inside the hull?  Never worked with resin before but it looks great.  Even came with three figures so I don't have to pick up land lubbers and teach them the ropes.

Soon, I will have a big surprise to post here, ir maybe under Breaking News. In the meantime, some nautical photos I recently took:

Love this steam schooner that reminds me of the Lucy Evelyn on Long Beach Island, NJ:
