New building on the layout. I just love the play on words. Also added Squeeky's Auto Parts.

Krispy Kreme was either a Dept.56 or Snow Village building
I have been repeating "Boris Car Lot" out loud for the past 5 minutes trying to get the play on words...
Can I use a life line?
"Boris Karloff" (Frankenstein)
Sounds like "Boris Karloff" aka Frankenstein Monster
Benny
Thanks..... For some reason I always think it is going to be dirty
Looks great! Your Frankenstein monster holding the Mustang is a excellent prop for the dealership. Where did you get "Frank"?
I found him on Ebay. I was originally looking for a 1:43-1:50 but couldn't find one so I decided to go big. It's 8" tall holding a 1/64 scale vehicle of my former Shelby GT500.
I like the layout. and love kk
Spence,
Great play on words, and I love the car lot!

Hi Spence,
Very nice buildings

Spence....that looks fantastic. Very creative and I'm sure a real attention getter.
Curious where it is located on the layout....is it prominently featured?
It took me a few times to get the play on words too but now I get it.
"Boris Car Loft" would have taken all of the mystery out of it!!
It made me laugh...great idea.
Fantastic! And a nice, subtle, play on words and image.
Very cool indeed!
Spence. This is great and I really like the look. I tend to search for scale items myself and forget that items like Frankenstein really make things stick out and go very well! Terry
For those of us old enough to remember there was an animated move call The Mad Monster Party. It featured the voices of Boris Karloff and Phylis Diller, amongst others. At one point in the movie on a TV is an ad saying the show is sponsored by "Boris' Car Lot." I bet this is where MTH got the inspiration from.

I love it!
