I attended the open house yesterday and it was a great time! The main layout is comming along nicely and there was a good turn out on a gloomy cold morning. It was a great family day with beutiful Boston & Maine equipment running on the main layout and the seperate traditional "Toy train" layout with multiple trains running at one had me mezmorized!  There were plenty of activities for the kids with a seperate 3 track layout with Thomas and friends that all the kids had a "Hands on" at the controls as well as a seperate Polar Express loop that the kids could run. A great family day with a great bunch of guy's! If your ever in the area when there is another open house you should definitly check out the club and chat with it's members!

Chris, thank you for coming yesterday and thanks for the good words...  It was great talking with you even for a brief time!  The Dispatchers position can get very hectic at times!

We even had a visit from Jim Katz and his wife who came down from Saco...  Don't know if you saw him while you were there...  Also saw Wally Brooks very briefly...

General thanks to all Forum members who came...

We have not scheduled our Open House events for 2013 yet; but I'll post here when we do...
