The 390E is a restored engine I bought from a forum member. Very pretty, but runs like a dog with more than two cars. Solution; a pair of two tone brown, premo, all original Baby States. These came with mint boxes, now in my closet. These are nice, and the browns compliment the black with orange stripe on the 390E just perfectly I think. A nice match, and now I don't have to listen to the old bit** rasp and moan when I ask her to do a little work around the track.

Nobody likes to listen to "the old bit** rasp and moan" any more than they have to.

I have an original 259E that has a lot of miles on her, I call her my grinder engine.
In order to keep her grinding noise down to a min, I use a generous amount of Red & Tacky on all her gears, it helps a lot.
I really like your matching passenger Cars, great stuff.
