I'd like to buy "O" Gauge models of British streamlined steam locomotives. Are there any available in the USA or Canada?

I saw this for sale on Tranz.com, but it's OO Gauge—tiny in comparison to "O'.

LMS Streamlined Princess Coronation 4-6-2 #6221 'Queen Elizabeth' 2

Note: I don't have a layout, don't run the trains; just like to display them.

This is a dealer in the UK but they have reasonable shipping to the US. They are cataloging a number of “Mallard” type engines for pre-order...

here are more, starting at the bottom of the page...

These are manufactured by Denmark's HELJAN—and through Google, I've discovered they're sold in the USA by Walthers.

???

Heljan's not on Walthers manufacturers list anymore and nothing comes up in their site search in any scale:

Sunset/3Rd Rail has done the British LNER streamlined A4 in a number of versions in 2-rail and 3-rail. I imported one from USA to Europe (maybe an USA dealer has one available):

The locomotive you show (LMS Coronation) was done by DJH in England in 2-rail 0 gauge:

You could try for DJH via Tower Models; they export to USA:

http://www.tower-models.com/towermodels/export.htm

ACE made this loco in 3-rail; the Station Master has this (and more types) available and does ship to USA:

hattons etc do finescale 2-rail locos.

If its 3 rail coarse scale (DC though) that you want look at the raylo website (www.raylo.co.uk, - I think). I use them and can vouch for them. Or www.wjvintage.co.uk  for similar offerings.

Thanks. As I said, I don't run them, just display them. So 2/3 rail, AC/DC, internal electronics, are not factors in my purchases.

Ironically, I used to have a UK checking account, but no more. And as of this week, the Pound Sterling has suddenly strengthened against the US Dollar. **** Brexit!

Here's a photo of two engines I've bought (US, not UK):

Be forewarned if you go buying this one!
You DO NOT get the twin-stack, elephant-eared version as shown in the MTH Catalog/advertisement!!!
Just to educate, so you won't be surprised and go flying off with the phone calls, what you do get is the single stack version without elephant-ears.

Heljan in England is imported by Howes Models in Kidlington, near Oxford.

https://howesmodels.co.uk/prod...l-railway/heljan-uk/

I visited them a few years ago when I was visiting the University of Oxford for a month. Beautiful stuff, but very expensive.

Even the seconds of shells were in the several hundred pound range.

At the time they mentioned that their new imports would be fewer and fewer and, of course, any store that imports goods from the EU has been very careful since June 2016 because of Brexit!

Much to the chagrin of the townspeople, Kidlington is viewed as an "ideal" British town and, thus, it is a stop for a large number of Tour Buses of foreign tourists. Luckily for me, it was only 20 minutes on a local bus from Oxford.
