Just got off the phone with Bob, he is still cranking out models. Mostly 2 railing 3 rail diesel engines and what not, but still custom builds brass and urethane ready to run.

Yes he is
Yes I like that New Hampshire boxcar that Bob made what not
And some Rails Unlimited build ups. The nice thing about Cameron builds is that all the attachments are brass.

New York, New Haven, and Hartford you mean?
New York, New Hampshire and Haverford, no?

Image is from 2011, so it’s not that old. This was Chip Rovetta’s car I finished with the loads

It's an interesting and colorful load. I will delete the photo I found on the net.

I’ve only posted it here on OGR and Atlas forum. You took the time to mark it up, so I took the time to credit it for you.
Saved it that way for myself, I have one I'd like to paint for Grande. Maybe use red tractors though.
OScaleTrains,
Can you provide contact info for Bob? If you want to keep it from blasting out into the unknown, see my profile and send me a private email.
Thanks,
Ed
I would like that info as well.
Yes he does!

Wikipedia can be written by anyone who wants to add to it. Not very reliable
A better from the same batch of images taken 11/2009 for Chip Rovetta of his Cameron Flat Car. I still have the car, I will take some pictures that better suite my usual quality.
The “Fair use act” dictates that you or anyone else can use any photo you find online; if presented with the proper credit the law stipulates I may act and ask you to either credit the photo or I can contact the admins of the website and they should ablige with the possibility of legal action by copyright holder if not, it’s doubtful the admins would deny a copyright holder presented with proper evidence of ownership of the image such as a screen capture of the raw file or the original META data contained in the file. Low resolution web based cached files such as the image you posted are in the bot realms of various servers and impossible at times to find out ownership. It is however responsible and respectful to honor the original owners work with a not if anything “unknown photographer” will do. Marking the image with your content is clearly a transgression and you will likely run into a raging photog, not me in this case but I do appreciate you corresponding with me over it. I mean no disrespect and felt disrespected by the use without at least a note to the effect “ I don’t know photographer, but this is a shot of one in DRGW” would have been nice . Most of the time you will get “credit my photo or get it off!!”
You can read all about it here: https://www.copyright.gov/fair-use/more-info.html
Its my intellectual property in the end and a no issue no debate.. I monitor all these sites daily and it’s rare to encounter use of my work mostly because I am very active and well known in the o scale and model Railroading community at large. It’s my right under the law to act
Neat thread I really like his work.
Glad to know Bob is still at it
Maybe someday I can get AA autocar - simply beautiful

I'd be getting on the waiting list now if you want one.

Actually a it's a lot more complicated (when is copyright ever simple ). Generally if such is used for purposes such as criticism, commentary, reporting the news, educational purposes, e.g. teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, then it is not an infringement of copyright. And, as with everything, exceptions exist, hence the lack of simplicity.
One could easily argue that posting stuff to public forums could quality under the categories of criticism, commentary, and for educational purposes.
Said I was leaving, obviously I didn't. We say things when mad sometimes that are stupid. Anyway, Cameron Scale Models is still in business. Yes, Bob did the NH cars. I have no idea if they were sold with T&Cers.
I have the B&M XM-1 from East Wind 08 - no T's and C's in the box
The CB&Q Flat looks nice - thanks for sharing

Actually most all of his builds are pretty nice. I think what happened though was that he underpriced himself and eventually ended up with maybe years of back orders. And he does a lot of other things also. 2 railing 3 rail stuff, etc.

Cool, another one of Chip Rovettas cars. I sold this on ebay several years ago. The ATSF Mike behind it is a custom built based on a Sofue on my writing desk. Memories. This was an excellent car wish I bought it from ChipR sadly I did not. ChipR was an avid fan of his models and this one was built and painted by Cameron Scale Models. I weathered it.
Cameron has been making cars for so long, there have to be a lot of them out there.

Hey Erik,
Do you know offhand is that Wilson reefer an actual Wilson model or is it the RU Swift car?
My RU Swift car is packed as are my meat reefer books...
(insert thumbs up or thanks emoticon here)
Bob is a magnificent modeler and he used to be heavy into UP prototype models. I bought a couple of his UP FC's a year ago that are very highly detailed above and below deck. His water spouts are the best I've seen and the price is very fair.

In the same vein as that LWS topic; any list or catalog of all that have been made available?
I've never seen a catalog Martin, only the old ads in OSN and I think OST. He's been flying under the radar for at least a decade, but I imagine he's getting older like all of us.
I would also like contact info please.
This is current and I don't think Bob would mind me posting. Hopefully not breaking any forum rules.
