Hello just found this picture from 1958 with me and My first train set I’m trying to identify what set it was looks to be American Flyer but not sure. Anyone recognize it?
That is a lad playing with a toy train. By himself, no one telling him how the train should look or where to stop it. No track switches to complicate matters. Just a kid playing with a toy. Might be what Joshua thought of when he made toy trains. No complicated track plans, no switching problems. If it derails, put it back on the track. John
