Can Cruise Control Be Added To A Lion Chief Polar Express ?

Nope, not with LC control.  LC+ has cruise, but not the plain LC.  The way I solved that problem is I upgraded the semi-scale PE to ERR Cruise and RS, and I also put in an MTH smoke unit and my Super-Chuffer.  It's a pretty cool little engine now.

GRJ, I know you know a thing or two about ERR products.  I'm sure it would be a complex feat to accomplish, but do you think a CruiseCommander could be hacked in, between the LC electronics and the motor?  I'm not familiar enough to know what sort of signal the commander is looking for, but I can't help but wonder if something could be kludged together to use back EMF.  I'm sure this would go well beyond being a cost effective solution.
