Can these be added to a 0-8-0 LionChief loco?

Can a glowing/flickering firebox effect be added to LionChief 0-8-0 rtr starter set engines? Is there enough room inside the engine shell and if yes, how would it be hooked up? Also, what about a cab light and a backup light on their tenders?

There really is no room whatsoever unless you do some rearranging of the circuit board which would probably involve lengthening some wires. The circuit board is jacked up right to the firebox wall.
