Can you help with GGD cars?

One set I have is the B&O Columbian coaches.  The aluminum four car coach set came out at the end of the last year (?) and the other four cars (dome, diner, combine, and observation) are due this December.

there were 12 cars for the 1948 PRR Broadway Limited.

Think there was a total of at least 16 cars with 8 sleeper cars, a Palor car observation, twin unit diner,

And a 4 car P85 lightweight 48 seat coach.

Can give you names and numbers if interested.

The Empire Builder and NCL were on the list but got so few reservations...

There were also individual postwar 4-4-2s and 10-6s.

There were at least 16 different car numbers of PRR P70 coaches.  There was also a PRR head end set with 70-foot baggage car, a baggage/mail car and a combine.  There were at least 2 of these sets with different car numbers.  There were also multiple car numbers (4, I think) of Pullman (lettered for PRR) 12/1 sleepers and 8/1/2 sleepers.

Charlie, wasn't there also a Congressional Limited set?

So are you saying these have been cancelled?  I know some of the single-sale NP (NCL) coaches and sleepers have been delivered, but not the 4-car finish set (which I thought was now slated for 2014).

I can't imagine GGD / 3rd Rail NOT following through with the NP (NCL) finish set, as it would make purchase of prior NP cars pretty much meaningless.  And if that were even close to being the case, I'd never purchase a 3rd Rail product again.  Wouldn't even give them a second glance... as in completely off my radar screen.

I was just about to say, I wonder if Scott is able to release a master archive list of products offered by the company. The famous name sets like the the 20th Century Limited and Daylight are easy to keep track of but trying to find info on all the more obscure piece-meal sets they've produced over the years is an absolute pain...

The NYC Mercury cars were 3rd Rail brass, not GGD. There were 7 cars total, a 4 car set and a 3 car set.

Seafoid...you are correct.  I have the entire set with the locomotive and it is BEAUTIFUL.  Got it from my friend Vince at "Vince's Trains"....
