That is if you connect the last (12th) +/- port of the first one to the +/- red (red/black) terminal connection of the second block. Will signal weaken?

luvtrains,
This all depends on how your layout is wired to begin with, if the DCS signal weakens
simply put a Magic light between the terminal blocks. Better yet invest in a 24 port Terminal block and put a Magic light at the head of it.

I don't think it is recommended doing it that way.
As PCRR says, can you use a 24 terminal block? If not, maybe run another wire from the TIU or use another TIU channel to the next terminal strip?

Doing it that way probably would degrade the DCS signal.
The best way to do this is to simply use a 24 port terminal block. If that's not an option, the next best thing to do would be to connect the wires from the entry pairs of the two terminal blocks together.
Try it and see what happens.
Thank you for the advice. I think I will use a 24 port terminal block. I'm sure I can use the two 12 port blocks for accessories as the railroad grows. Planning on a 12x 24 layout (around room) with Mianne benchwork. I will ad on to it later. Hope the 24 ports will be enough when I get to that point. I'm using the newer revL TIU. The older one is saved for future use or a back up.
I thought the recommendation was no more than 12 to 15 blocks per channel, so why would you need 24 feeds anyway? I have a 20' U shape and managed to cover all with 11 blocks on each loop.
