when I got to do a recording using the fixed 2 input powered by external wall wart the only choice I get is tiu2 3 or 4 . I only have tiu 1 so what is going on. You can set a recording using fixed one on the fixed one layout. thanks for any help.

Hmm you say you only have 1 tiu but what's it's number? to find out, power up the tiu and count the number of times the red led blinks. That is the tiu number.
I suspect it may be tiu #2 so select tiu #2 and start the record / playback feature.
If you are able control your engines on the channels you're using, the record feature will record.
Unfortunately the software will allow adding tiu even if they don't exist. Maybe that's what's going on here.
Bottom line.. how many blinks is your tiu number , use it to start the recording . Menu/Advanced/ record playback etc.
Make sure that the TIU itself is getting power either via Fixed #1 in or the Aux. Power port.
It blinks 3 times, now how did it get changed from tiu 1. I must of goofed but have never gone into the tiu menu.
