Hey all!
Can someone point towards the wiring diagram for this loco? The smoke unit isn't smoking anymore.
I have the shell off, and opened the smoke unit. I have looked at the wick, which looks good...no overt burn marks...not dried out.
There is a thick wire that the wick surrounds. Is this the heating element?
I think something is disconnected, but I can't tell what. I'll try and get a pic later when I am home.
I looked on the repair/parts section of Lionel's site, where I have always been successful. I just can't find this unit.
Everything else works perfectly: running, sounds, tender coupler, lights, all TMCC functions but smoke.
Perhaps another version that uses the same basics would help me if I had the product # and could see the breakdown.
