I'm going to cast a "write-in" vote. Perhaps another option would be a model of a locomotive which the kids might see at a grade crossing or station in your area today. I've always found youngsters responsive to something they see in the real world. Here in New Jersey, Conrail, CSX, NJ Transit and NS are popular with the kids. Just a thought...

Why VL "PILOT" Centipedes vs VL BB #4014, not VL "painted" Centipedes (UP would be great) vs VL BB?

I have the pilot NIB, I woud love to have the UP.

 

Well, get it painted in UP....much easier to do than a steam Pilot loco
