Central Operating Lines Open House

 Hey Model Railroaders. Happy to advise you that Central Operating Lines is having an Open House session. Its being held on Sunday October 18th at the COL Club at 50a Carlough rd in Bohemia, Long Island New York. It is just south of LI McArthur airport. When you head east on Vets Highway NY 454 and you come to the turn for the airport, turn right instead. Carlough is about a mile or so on the left. Hours are 10am to 4 PM . There will be lots of trains running on our brand new layout. Check the website at

So visitors to the club photo pages are downloading as many as 90 full-size (960x637)  photos just by looking at the page, with no way to enlarge any of them.

Certainly not optimal (it was taking forever to load due to the reasons you cite, I am sure), but I was able to get a larger view of the pic by right clicking and selecting "view image" using Firefox(only tried one or 2 - old layout).

 

I won't be on LI for this event, but I hope to be able to make an OH in the future.  I always enjoyed visiting the old COL layout around the holidays.

 

Congrats to the club for getting the new layout up in the new location!
