Long Island's "Central Operating Lines" is building a brand new larger layout at a new larger location. We are real excited about our new space.

It features a separate office and an additional train repair room, all with plenty of parking.

We will be of course building a modern layout with Legacy and DCS, and expect to have two or more main lines up and running within 2 months or so.

As a former member of 12 years, (I moved south) I wish all of the current members tremendous success in moving to the new location.

The club has shown great resilience over the years (I helped move it from Bohemia to the present location) moving several times and always coming back better and stronger.

Hats off to Mike I. and club members for agreeing to do another swap meet -- his work has largely carried the club financially for the past 20 years.

I look forward to visiting LI in the future and seeing the results of your efforts.

The new COL location is in Bohemia New York. To locate it for you, this location is south of the LIE down the Vets Highway Rt 454 to the cross street where the entrance to MacArthur Airport is. You make a right instead of going into the airport and the new location is a couple of blocks in.

For those in Long Island looking to get involved with planning and building a new modern 3 rail layout, this is your chance. Work is ongoing with the teardown of the old layout, removal of Ross turnouts for reuse on the new layout and move of all salvageable items form the old layout to the new location, we could sure use your help.

So get in on the ground floor and have a great time with this new adventure for this club, This will be the clubs 5th location over a history spanning close to 4o years. Come join us and have a great time in the hobby.
