We have lady engineers on this side of the Atlantic too. (Although the cooler weather does not encourage such skimpy uniforms. )

railrunnin then why the heck did you post that pic for?if you dont want anyone to copie it and re use it.. If that your wife or girlfriend or daughter I wouldnt post it.not a smart move on your part.you know guys would do it anyways..Harleyhouse the pic you posted .that girl has the same out as those engineer chics..lol..accept your is wearing boots..
I posted that pic because I thought the member family here would enjoy the image.
Josey , that is a professional model, not anyone in my family. The reason for my request was because I had a problem with a forum member two years ago who copied, manipulated, and reposted some of my images, specifically a young woman in the Lionel Tent at York.

While I was still in grade school, my youngest sister enrolled in nursing school in Kansas City. After their graduation, one of her classmates got a job as nurse on a Santa Fe passenger train going from KC to some place West and back. She went by her home town each trip, but could never get off the train. Maybe she needed one more nickel.
As for stanima, I know a lot of those Kansas farm girls working on the farms during WW2 could compete with some of those trainmen.

You do realize that the image can be grabbed by anyone, Forum member or not, regardless of your request? If you don't want it grabbed/manipulated/re-posted, you shouldn't post it in the first place.

True, but now that it is posted along with the picture he can insist other sites remove it without his permission.

Ehhhhh....I gotta new respect for the Union now, if yunz know what I mean, once already!
Definitely fantasy - the heat from a typical coal burning firebox at road speed would scorch those pretty legs and arms!
Exactly what I was thinking. However, we have all been known to suspend reality for the sake of our layouts.
Talk about ending the year on a high note . . .
John, I found that woman figure at a hobby shop which since has gone out of business so I'm not sure where you could find it. I took a drinking straw, spray painted it gold, glued a rubber grommet to foam board and glued the straw end inside the grommet. I then glued the figure to the pole at the inside of the left knee, right foot, and hands. Just lucked out the body position was perfect for gluing to the straw. Makes a great conversation piece for the layout! LOL!
