Has anyone ever tried to model or seen a model of this unique bridge?  I'm in the process of building my dream layout which is based on Chicago, long distance trains, commuter line, freight and an "L" .    I have a river with an original post-war 313 Lionel bascule bridge (converted lifting power- will post that later) an also the re-issue of the Lionel Hellgate (albeit a NYC bridge) crossing the river.  I was thinking I could have my elevated line cross the river modeling on the Wells Street double deck bridge.  The original bridge , 1922?, was recently rebuilt but from the pictures I've seen it looks very much like the original design.

I guess I wasn't very clear in my question.   I re-read the post and understand the confusion.  The 313 bridge and the Hellgate are other bridsges I have across the river.  I want to make a third bridge that would  resemble  the Wells St CTA bascule.  I'm not thinking that it would be operable at all, just a fixed bridge to look like the 'L"/vehicle bridge.
