Does that ring a bell, Frank?
I happen to be a pack rat. Among the things I save are all the issues of OGR Magazine that I have received as a subscriber for many years.
Sometimes, after a hard day at work, when I'm too tired to tinker with my layout or run trains, it is so nice to grab a bunch of old OGR Magazines and thumb through them.
This evening I stumbled upon the January 1999 issue (Run 163) of OGR Magazine. On the bottom of the cover was "Frank Mullen's Layout." The photos of Frank's layout are beautiful, as is Frank's narrative in that article. Frank has a nickname on the Forum, but I'm not sure if I should disclose that.
Do you have any OGR Magazines (or articles therein) that are among your favorites? If so, please tell us about them.
And if your layout has been featured in OGR Magazine, I would love to know the month and year of the particular issue so I can see the pictures and read all about it.
I suspect that there are more than a few Forum members (not me), who have had their layouts featured in OGR Magazine over the years. I, for one, plan to track you folks down by reading the stacks of magazines that I have saved. Arnold
