On the 2018 email schedule of the August open houses at the DC National Show event that I received today it states that this is the last opportunity to see this layout. Is Chris moving??

Is there a daily open house map so as to strategize a visitation route?

I'm renewing my passport for another 10 years so I won't give up yet.

Yes, I will be moving. After the convention the layout will remain intact for a little while. Last year I bought a home in FL and have since had a conditioned building constructed on the property in order to rebuild the layout there. The layout was built with moving in mind. All of the scenery pretty easlily lifts out and the benchwork is all screwed together and can be taken apart.
