Christmas and Commodores

Thanks for sharing the pictures. That certainly is a nice collection of trains you've got there. I sat on the fence too long for the LCCA set, and now kind of regret not getting one when I see pictures like yours.

 

The 264e was one of the engines I was looking for at York last fall. Couldn't find one at the price and condition I wanted; actually I didn't find many at all.

 

I recently started buying new Marx Christmas cars. I think a red Marx Commodore may be on my short list now.

Now that is an impressive collection! Congrats! The lighting and colors in your photos are perfect. They look like a professional took them for an article in "Awesome Christmas" magazine. Well done.

It's never too late to show holiday trains. You have a great collection of commodores. I am also partial to the blue one as well.  Also, your low angle, composition, and depth of field on your photos is excellent.  Enjoy your trains!

Thank you all for the kind words!  Steamer, I bought the cars a few years ago from http://www.schylling.com/. I have the police car, fire chief car and taxicab.  Would love to find a Dick Tracey to add to the group.  Also, Pride Lines Manoil auto reproductions are on my list of items to look out for.
