We have just setup our Christmas layout display and would like to share it with you. I always enjoy setting up trains at Christmas time and I like to see what others have done as well. Feel free to post yours as well.

Our display run 4 trains on approximately 500 ft. of track. It is a combination of 027 and O Gauge track. There are around 80-90 ceramic lighted houses and the associated figurines. We always enjoy having visitors over to share our layout over the holidays.

The living room and dining room are not very functional during this period but that is OK since we get to play trains every day.

How well do guests handle the track on the floor in those rooms?  It is a cool layout though thanks for sharing.

Ours was up before Thanksgiving so our 3-1/2 YO granddaughter could play with the trains.  The picture is from the planning stages, lighting, people, and trees are yet to go in.

The tree will go in next week -- still have to figure out how we're going to do it though.

I am really impressed that your tree and trains are already setup.  I haven't started yet.  Beautiful display.  I am sure that your family and guests will enjoy it.  I did.  NH Joe

Tom;

      People step on the track even though see ask them to watch where they step. It is almost like people aim at the track to step on it. But that is OK I have more track and I bend it back closer to straight. I always use the same group of track in the walkways.

New Haven Joe;

                 We decided to setup our trains early this year our son is home visiting and he still enjoys setting up the trains. It has become a tradition to setup the trains after Thanks Giving. My wife enjoys it as well which is a good thing.
