Except for a little landscaping this project is completed. Thought I would share the final results with you and thank everyone who contributed to the final result. A greater amount of time was spent on creating the building's interior details and on completing the roof details than I anticipated. The only addtional new item I added to my casting line is the skylight. If there is interest inthis item I can create different sizes and shapes. Your input is very appreciated.
Attached are the exterior photos and some interior photos. I create the interiors on 'draws' that slide into the model and only the portions that would be visable by someone looking through the window are modeled. I did not have photos etc of how the
room would have been furnished so created functional furniture to serve the purpose. One thing that has amazed me is that the model was created in 1/4" scale from the drawings and when I created the furniture also 1/4 scale the space was very small.
I should also comment that I provide lighting for only 7 rooms to illustrate end building and center building floor layout. Not all
rooms are lite at the same time. I used a roterary switch mounted on the layout edge for visiters to play with. This process has been received well in trials with guests.
