Coil coupler NW2, Alco FAs, & F3s

Gentlemen,

I was wondering when Lionel stopped using coil couplers on these engines?

Were these the last coil coupler equipped engines?

I guess the 2400 series passenger cars had them too. Were they changed over at the same time?
