So I am updating my layout so that all the switches are command control as opposed to conventional with the throw switch. One of my switches will not respond to my Cab-1 commands. I have programmed a different switch that works fine. The problem switch seems to accept a change of ID but it won't fire when I press Aux1/Aux2. Anyone have any ideas?
Will it fire if you hold your hand over the switch? If so, two possible fixes. First, run an earth ground wire under or next to the track/switch: or, open up the switch and move the antenna for the receiver. I've had the same problem, and used both solutions and they both worked. You might also search this Forum, there are many threads on this topic. Good luck.
