Hi I'm seeing a lot of members use alligator clips to test track, etc. There seems to be so many clips on the web. Is there a voltage or wattage amount I need to look for?
These are the usual test leads that are used. They are 18 gauge wire and are rated for 300 volts and 5 amps. I use them to feed power to my small layout and also while doing repairs.
I picked these up on ebay for my testrack which has Gargraves track. They fit into the end of the track and i use MTH wire harness from my TIU to the track.
