Hi all,

I'm looking into purchasing a set of Conrail Office Car Special passenger cars made by MTH, and I'm wondering how well the paint on them pairs with the paint of the Lionel E units. Has anyone out there made this pairing? If so pictures would be appreciated. Also I would love to hear the sounds on the Lionel E8s. Thanks in advance!

I believe Derek Thomas (@Notch6) ran his Conrail E units with his OCS in the last FB live video post. It was a terrific post! Not sure if you follow him but his posts are quite informative and entertaining. Well worth the mouse click.

HEre is a comparision of the colors between the Lionel OCS set and the MTH OCS set

Comparing the MTH pad print colors to the Microscale decal set that's out there for Conrail OCS

The MTH pad printed markings are more Gold in color than the Microscale Conrail OCS decal set.

The lionel OCS set is much closer to the Microscale decal colors
