I installed a NEW Lionel O42 RH RC tubular track switch (6-12080) on my layout. My MTH Aerotrain consistently derails as it passes this "rough" switch. I believe the problem might be its swivel rail. Is there an adjustment for this? Responses welcome. My e-mail address is at my OGR FORUM profile.

@Mike H Mottler Are any other locomotives derailing on this switch? Have you checked the wheel gauge on the Aerotrain?
How about posting a picture of the switch, top view of the rails, frog, etc.

Had a similar problem on Fastrack with a new SD80MAC. Every 3rd or 4th trip it would jerk and derail on one switch. Pulled out the switch and replaced with a spare but still the derail occurred at the same location. I examined the loco several time before I noticed,... this loose spring on the roller. 
I had a problem with derailments on my lionel O42 switches I added a short length to the guard rail and that fixed my problem on all my right hand switches. It seems the guard rail on the right hand switches are shorter than on the left hand switches. The punch is pointing to the guard rail I added
I have a pair of 042's connecting my two loops. Not a single problem with any locos or rolling stock.
