My AMC/ARC Gantry Crane is connected to a LCS Ser2 module. The Gantry Crane works fine with the CAB2 controller, but not via WiFi using the LCS app on an iPad Air 2. The crane is programmed in to the Legacy base and the LCS app with engine ID 22. I see the red and green lights flash on the WiFi and Ser2 modules when using either the Cab2 or app but the green light flashes on the crane controller with the Cab2 only. Any suggestions of what to check next? The Legacy controller and base are on software version 1.54.

I would recheck your settings in the app. Since it works with the cab 2 you know the Ser2 is working. You did put the Icon of the Gantry Crane on the screen right?

Yes, the Gantry Crane icon is on the screen. It has been set to ID 22.
Maybe Jon or Rudy could jump in and shed some light on this.
I don't have the gantry crane but if it's like the log loader you loose the fine control of the motors using the app. It's much better using the Cab2.
Sorry to hijack this thread but I just picked up a used amc/arc gantry crane and everything seems to work fine but I noticed as soon as I plug in the power to the controller, the controller and crane both have an electric hum. My old conventional crane didn't do this so I was wondering if this is normal? When I say it has a hum, it hums when sitting idle and the hum only goes away if I completely turn off the transformer.
I found that if I select ENG 22, then select the Gantry Crane icon to operate the crane, it will move, but is very choppy.
