Does anyone know what the sound boards look like on the conventional railsounds and the LC+ rail sounds locos? Some of these are appealing to me but I'd like to upgrade them to TMCC. Are the boards "plug and play" with the cruise commanders and cruise commander lights? How do the installed boards compare to the boards that ERR sells? Thanks!

LC+ is an integrated board so you need to gut it and start from scratch to make a TMCC engine.
The conventional RS won't work with TMCC either. You gut it and install ERR and Sound CDR to get what your after.
So I don't think I would buy a LC+ engine to convert it. There are plenty of TMCC and Command Ready engines that would be a smarter purchase. G
I'm with George here, this is not a cost effective upgrade.
