I have a set of MTH "baby Madison" coached with incandescent.  Assuming MTH has baby Madison with LED lighting, if those LED strips are able to retro fit into the incandescent cars.  Pretty sure the answer is no, but thought I would ask.

I have perused alot of LED conversion kits and could almost spend as much for each kit as each car cost when I bought them at blowout prices.

Check out gunrunnerjohn's LED lighting products at Henning's Trains. Pretty sure you can get just the lighting modules or get the modules with LEDs in a complete kit. If you already have a roll of LEDs (5 meter ones sold on ebay), then all you need is the modules. I believe the pricing on the website is for a pair of items (which ever one you choose). I think the output is also adjustable so you can adjust the light level to your preference.

Hi JOhn,

Oh I can solder alright!   Have everything from SMD irons up to 250W Wellers!  Just looking for a "plug and play" kit to solder together.

Here's my basic diagram for lighting, I use the LM317 so you can adjust the lighting.  This is the same circuit as is used in the lighting modules that I sell through Henning's Trains, so you're getting a "trade secret" here.

All of these components are readily available, and you can just wire them together and then hot glue them to the ceiling of the car.
