Correct light bulb for MTH 455 Oil Derrick?

What is the correct replacement light bulb for the 455 Oil Derrick? The online and printed instructions do not provide that information. 455 Oil Derrick Instructions I tried a #53 bulb; however, a #53 bulb is not bright enough and/or does not become warm enough to heat the simulated oil to bubbling point.

(Note: I purchased the oil derrick in February 2002. I have been regularly operating the derrick since then; even so, the original light bulb lasted until last week. That's very impressive.)
