Welcome and thank you for your support of this Forum. One of the best kept secrets in O Scale modeling! Dave is one of my favorite building vendors and is a true pleasure to deal with!   I have several items on my buy-list!

One suggestion, you can announce/roll-out new items right here on the forum!

Dave;

Welcome and thanks for sponsoring the forum.

If you have not had the opportunity to see Dave's work in person, I can assure you they are very detailed miniature works of art. I purchased one of his O-72 curved station/platforms late last year and couldn't be happier. Unfortunately, between ordering the set and receiving it, I made some significant changes to my layout plan, so the station would no longer fit where I had intended, so I had to do some adapting to other available space. Since the new location was really on the wrong side of the tracks, the set isn't being used as planned (station in the middle, the platforms as wings on either side). I was very fortunate to meet and have a long chat with Dave at April York - he offered to reverse the bases for me, but I kind of like the new look:

I am now awaiting a cinder hoist and a really cool switch tower (unfortunately not shown on his website) that I ordered at York. I have learned my lesson though (somewhat)... the space for the two new additions is reserved!!!

Dave,

Your work is simply amazing.   Thank you for joining and supporting the OGR family.   I know your association with OGR will be beneficial both to you and to the forum members.

And thanks to Alan for making this happen.  IMO I think you would be quite justified in marching into the OGR World Headquarters and strongly requesting a substantial and well deserved raise for your work at OGR.

Ed

PS - let me know how the request for the raise goes

Hello all!  Thank you for the warm welcome to the forum!!!!!  I appreciate the compliments and all the support over the years.

I am working on a new website which should be up and running shortly. I will make an announcement when it is ready.  The web address will remain the same.

Yes, there are lots of new buildings and more coming for the fall York show. I will post photos as they are done.

I've always been fond of scale structures but have scratch built most of what is on my layout. Crescent Locomotive works is among one of only a few pre-built models that I use on the layout.  Dave Duhamel's models are detailed, scale size, well made and are very realistic looking models from the steam age.  Outstanding wood models.  Absolutely great!
