Very cool! Thats one I’ve never heard of before!

Thanks for posting that. You are right, that diner is impressive. But even more impressive to me is the striping and two tone paint job on the passenger cars. Pretty good for any era!
I agree that that K4 is in amazing shape and runs really well. But it would have to be, as the paint on the front looks like it has sped through an open fire somewhere along the line.
Nice video Carey love these old timers. cTr...( Choose the Right )

Me too...or, "me neither"...very nice.
And 2 rail(?) to boot. I thought pretty much all "scale" O stuff from that era was outside third rail...
Great start to this new year; thanks Carey!

PS: the caboose shown at the end of the video: Walthers?
These are great still shots! More, please - especially close-ups!
I am intrigued with the "Fleet of Modernism" color scheme. I might try it some day - Carey shows how just three cars can make a very nice K4 consist. I am sure you have seen all my K4s - they run like Carey's does, with giant gears and solid mechanisms - no springs. Here is the red one - all are Scale Craft, or derivatives therefrom:

Let me see if I can find my current PRR fleet:
Walthers - not really accurate for a P70, but good enough for me
Fisher - arguably a collector's item
Another Walthers - For heavyweights I prefer later Walthers with glued-on sides to even the vaunted PSC.
I note that I have no photos of my streamlined Tuscan fleet. I will rectify that someday - they are all at the airport, behind a giant S2 and a bronze GG1. The two K-Lines are the obvious candidates for FOM paint, since K-Line chose brown instead of Tuscan. All my Tuscan cars are good old Scale Coat, baked on and coated with Future Floor Wax.

And I wonder if there were chestnuts roasting there as well?
Hello all thank you for your kind words ...the engine started out as outside 3rd rail ...... but like many of this era was converted to 2 rail later in it's life ... ..it came in a traveling case ...so good odds the owner belonged to a club .... when clubs ripped out the outside 3rd ...if you wished to run your trains ...you needed to have them 2 railed to play .. I'll post some more close ups next time I take some photos ...
I'm very happy with the 3 Pomona cars ....and would love to add more to the set .....however I've never seen any other Pomona PRR streamlined cars .....one day more will surface ...
Cheers Carey
I make do with Kasiner and CRC - and K-Line when I can get them for cheap. There are quite a few Weavers on the 'Bay, but I am not sure how they stack up with the K-Line.
This one is a Kasiner - I took photos of a "Long Island" CRC diner, but unfortunately the camera was set wrong. I will try again later.
