Nick:  do you remember what year you got your Rolling Rock reefer?

Suzanne:  I believe these are from between 1994 and 1996. All the Crown cars I purchased from dealers were purchased in those years.

When Crown first ran ads in the train magazines, they listed the following reefers:  R-9000 Berghoff Beer and R-9001 Moosehead Beer. Where these ever produced? As a beer car collector, I have never seen these for sale. Thanks.

Ramon,

I believe that I purchased the Crown Rolling Rock back in 2002,  possibly 2003,  in the gift shop at the brewery.   I do remember that it was the only one on the shelf.   A couple years later around 2004-2005,  after Weaver acquired the Crown Models woodside reefer tooling,  Weaver produced a Rock Light woodside reefer(white with green/black decoration) that was also sold only in the gift shop at the brewery.   That one pops up for occasionally on Ebay.
