Why does it seem that most of the derailments are tank cars with hazardous materials and it's always near a residential neighborhood?
I hear ya, I live off the main in Livingston county Michigan, had a train go into emergency behind my house... all propane cars!
It sat there for 2 hours before it started up again.
They may have hit some wildlife that caused a few problems... not sure... but it was un-nerving for quite some time.
