Thank you for asking that question

Bano,
I have had great luck with Jim from High Ball Graphics.
Dave
Malcolm,
Where did you get the URR decals on the caboose you did for me. I seem to remember that person also made a US Steel logo but I cannot remember who it was.
Thanks,
Dave
Just curious if anyone is making the more common decals like NYC. Microscale seems to be phasing out their O scale line. I've been quoted as high as $350 for MDT reefer decals that used to retail for 11 bucks from Microscale. I am also looking for NYC steam both early and late lettering.

Dave,
It was Brandon Wehe.

Malcolm,
Thanks Still love my caboose! (sorry for the hijack)

My decal guy, Jim Wilhite, and I collaborated on these. You get four of these with different road numbers, half in white and half in silver, for somewhere around fifteen bucks. That is enough for the average SP nut to last for years!
We have done PRR Merchandise Service boxcars and Carnation Milk Ice cars, as well as passenger car decals for many roads inngold with black outline.
Jim charges $25 + shipping for the first attempt, and ten bucks plus shipping for subsequent copies. You can buy copies of my stuff at the lower price.
If you are speaking of Highball graphics Jim will run anything he has in HO in O scale if you request it. Malcolm
How do I get in touch with Jim Wilhite? Does he have a website? Thanks.

It costs me $25 + shipping to generate these things. You get a bargain, because all the hard work has been done.
Thanks, and thanks for posting the SD&AE sheet. I have a Lionel Consolidation that I'd like to reletter as SD&AE and that's not exactly a widely available decal. Do you know if that yellow is authentic for steam locos? All the photos I have are in black and white.
I'll be in touch with Jim W.
The yellow is actually gold. The SDAE was an SP subsidiary, so I think most locomotives were silver. Consolidation 104 was at the fairgrounds for several decades, and the lettering was gold leaf. I prefer the gold. These decals are for the museum mostly. Jim can sell you a sheet.
Thanks, that's good info. I'll be in touch with Jim.
Decades ago, I had custom O scale decals made by "deRAILcals by After Hours Graphics", in Cincinnati, Ohio. Luckily, I did a second order soon after the first and am still using
them. They are great. I found the name some months ago in the Cincy phone book,
with a different address, but wondered if they were still doing them? Anybody on here
in Cincy?
