Surprised nobody posted this yet. There are 2 versions of the cars. One is available on Metca's website, and the other on the TCA website.

Typically in this kind of run you only get a different road number. So having a variation where the car side is painted a different color in addition to a different road # is pretty nice. Really nice artwork on these.
Reefer madness is alive and well!

The version offered from TCA has WHITE sides and road number 1940.
The version offered by METCA Division has SILVER sides and road number 1961.
Yes in the image above the car looks gray, but that's because silver in the computer generated image doesn't reproduce well, but it's spec'd out as silver not gray.
And any TCA members that can't access the link that Frank included in the opening post, make sure you're logged into your TCA account. If you're logged out, it treats you as a member of the public and these cars are only available to TCA members, so you won't see it. Log in to your TCA account and you'll see it in the store.

Just another of many reasons to join the TCA!
I'm a total sucker for a nicely designed wood-sided reefer, so I ordered one. I ended up getting the TCA version. Thanks for letting us know about this.
As of now, there are only 27 available to pre-order of the TCA White-sided version of this car. If you are on the fence about it, I wouldn't wait too long!
As of now, there are only 12 available to pre-order of the TCA White-sided version of this car!

And while the quantity remaining doesn't show for the silver sided version on the METCA website:
there is about the same quantity remaining of that one also.
