The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) hosted its 45th Annual Convention in Danvers MA last week.  Our convention was a huge success by any measure.  Most importantly , our members had fun!

LCCA member Derek Thomas of Notch 6 podcast hosted a daily podcast last week about our convention.  If you can go to this forum board or read an e-mail, you can listen to these  podcasts.  These are audio recordings that can be listened to on your computer or I-phone at any time convenient for you.  To listen to the Notch 6 Podcasts from our convention last week, please visit www.notch6.com.  Just click on the specific episode you want to listen too.

There are interviews with OGR's Ed Boyle, LCCA President Dennis DeVito, Roger Farkash of TW TrainWorx as well as Lionel President Howard Hitchcock, Mike Reagan  and others.   We hope you will find these audio recordings to be informational and entertaining.  Thank you Derek for hosting these podcasts during our convention, your passion about our hobby and Lionel Trains, but most of all thank you for  your continued  support of the LCCA and friendship.

I have been slowly working my way through the podcasts.  I enjoyed them so far and especially enjoyed the segments with you.  Your enthusiasm fo the club and all things Lionel comes through.  Thank you for the time and effort.  You'll make a heck of a President.

Hope to see you here in Pittsburgh again for the Train Days!

Did Derek ever change his shirt?  LOL!

I will echo what Marty said. I very much enjoy the Podcasts that Derek puts out as well as Al's enthusiasm about LCCA and the hobby in general. While I did not make the Boston Event, I am looking very seriously at the Kansas City Event...

Al, I especially liked the talk about the Kid Club and the challenges that you have run into. Mike Reagan is always a fun listen as well as all the other interviews.

Thanks Derek and keep up the good work.

Charlie; You should definitely think about Kansas City. The LCCA convention is a great event and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. You may just want to avoid guy's like the one seated next to Derek in the photo wearing Patriots shirts!

Marty what are the dateS for Train  days?  I may have a conflict if it is December 5.  That is going to be Lionel Train day and I may be at Lionel in Concord NC.
