David "O" King made three rail stuff. I did not know he made two rail stuff too.
I had not herd of it, so I looked on ebay and a 2 rail trolley came up. I don't know just curious?

While I am not into trolleys or traction, didn't David O. King make/import some steam rolling stock, too, or was that only the other guy I can't think of this moment, or were there others? Somebody made an early McKeen car (I'd find that name if I dug in my files), a Mack railbus (But I think these WERE two rail), and ?? Wish there was a Greenberg book for the importers from that early O scale/gauge brass period. I think RMC did articles on some of those makers/importers...

You're thinking of Ken Kidder? Imported a lot of traction items and some other stuff.
if yours is anything like this one, it looks like these were fitted with third party motors, look similar to the ones I see in corgi trolleys and other smaller motor units. This example is from a collection I sold last year, so I don't have the unit to review closer, but the bottom photos show the end of the motor. It was a smaller can motor. Hope this helps. Tim

Were there any others who imported O scale/gauge brass items like Ken Kidder and David O. King. (and that one outfit that made the really cheaply made brass locos and cars)? International? In live auctions years ago, but not lately, I saw a few items that were not identified to any of these.

It appears I made some post to this topic, but it was not me. I checked and my profile comes up, but I did not post to this topic. Some one posted using my name. I have read it only. I don't know anything about this subject. Anyone had this happen before?
PS I enjoyed learning about these trains.
Thanks
