Well, we intended to get the notification out before the update but, sometimes things move more quickly than expected. That's rare but, it happens.
We've updated both the iOS and Android versions of the app to ver 3.1.0. The updates are available on both platforms now.
This update isolates Explorer app features from standard and premium versions. While you can still see the full app features, they are no longer active and do not result in a hardware upgrade message. This should enhance UX for Explorer users.
You can now clearly see which features are available and do not have to learn or remember this. We probably should have taken this approach from the beginning but we wanted users to understand the full system capabilities. This still exposes users to the advanced features of DCS but, also, improves they experience of the Explorer user and legitimizes it as a stand alone product.
