Hello all.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue, possibly figured out why it happens.

My DCS has version 6.10 on both.

When I create a lashup with engine that have marker lights and smoke the issue occurs.

I can create the lashup fine. All functions ( marker , smoke headlight number board) are working.  If I turn off the smoke unit with the remote, I loose marker lights, smoke, and usually interior and number lights. The engine will run fine however. This happens even if i use the Save lashup state feature.  It has even sometimes just turned off on its own while running.

If i shut down and restart the lashup .. the functions will not return.

The only way I can restore them is to access the engine individually and feature restore.

A side issue .. is sometimes engines that are in a lashp will  give the error,  "ENGINE NOT IN REMOTE"

When i run the engines alone i never have an issue.. It is only in lashups.

I hope i explained this issues well enough that someone can shed a little light on it.

Thanks
Bill

Welcome the DCS lashup conundrum,  it thought 6.1 was supposed to fix all these issues?  Bet your lashup is all diesels?  PS3 engines?

I would have bet either mixed PS2 and PS3, or an engine that was upgraded myself. Some bugs get fixed, others seem to linger in the background for a few versions. Sometimes, it's something else like poor signal strength that shows up when several engines are run together.

I have to admit that I can't keep track of which problems go with which DCS versions. Overall I believe 6.1 fixed many issues from the 5.X thru 6.0.

Some users won't leave 4.2 or 4.3 that I know of. What fun is that????

As I recall, that was a general, though intermittent, bug prior to DCS 6.0. For me, it would occur in individual engines, as well as in lashups. However, since DCS 6.1 (maybe even 6.0), I haven't seen that bug.

Are you absolutely sure that you have DCS 6.1 in al TIUs and remotes?

Yes Barry, I have installed the latest 6.1 in the TIU and the Remote.
