DCS Remote Commander with subway

I have a NY Yankees Subway 30-4122-1 from 2004 and am operating it using the 50-1033 DCS Remote Commander. All functions such as bell, horn, random sounds, coupler work great except that I cannot trigger the subway stops which I now realize is not the same as PFA.

Has anyone devised a way of triggering the subway stops using this set up?

The only ways you can trigger the transit station announcements is either using a DCS Remote and TIU, or under conventional control.

It cannot be done from the DCS Remote Commander.
